Dr. Boyd Argo

Dr. Boyd Argo is a native of middle Tennessee.  Following undergrad school at Tennessee Tech, he moved to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  Dr. Argo graduated with honors in 1974 and immediately joined the faculty at UTHSC, teaching in the Crown & Bridge Department for two and a half years.  He began his own dental practice over 40 years ago in December of 1975 and is thankful to all current and former patients for keeping him in business through the years.

Dr. Argo has been the grateful recipient of numerous awards and honors throughout his career.  You can find many of these on display when you visit our office.  The most rewarding part of his job is interacting with patients and making a positive difference in their lives by restoring confidence in their smile and improving the dental health of all who seek his professional help.  Dr. Argo is the proud parent of two sons and prouder grandparent of seven wonderful grandchildren.  In his spare time, he enjoys working on his farm and cussing at golf balls.  He also enjoys telling jokes- make sure and ask him to tell the one about the parrot!

Cathy Elrod

Cathy Elrod grew up in small town Judsonia, Arkansas and moved to Memphis following attendance at Freed-Hardeman University.  Her favorite activities include spending time with her two sons, shopping for vintage treasures, and baking sweet treats & confections.  You might even be offered a sample when you’re in the office!

Cathy joined our staff in March of 2014 and fills the dual roles of Dental Assistant and Office Manager.  You can find her working chair-side with Dr. Argo as well as making sure that all office details are in order each day.  She thoroughly enjoys the relationships she has already established with current patients and looks forward to making new ones!
